Dutch-internship.com is an internship placement organization based in Zwolle, The Netherlands. Our services are provided by dedicated people who will work directly with students/interns to find pre-screened placements. Our students/interns come from a vast array of countries and cultures which will enable your child to gain a truly international experience.
We understand that it can be a difficult decision to allow and/or support your child (or ward/charge) to travel abroad, and we want to do all that we can to provide you with all the information necessary to feel secure that your child is in good hands. Through Dutch-internship.com your child will be provided with experience in how to live and work in a diverse setting, gain practical knowledge, and acquire work experience that will be beneficial to their future careers. Process
There are some useful basic facts about the process of new applicants:
- Our program is open to worldwide participants. - Dutch-internship is an English spoken company. - Every intern has a possibility to choose the dates of the internship. - Every intern can choose the field of work he/she is interested in - We do not require any work experience.
Application process consists of three steps: Online application English CV Phone interview
If the applicant is bellow 18 years old, we need guardian's permission to proceed. After the application process we inform every applicant if he/she has succeeded via e-mail. At least 10 days before the applicant´s arrival he/she has to pay the fee for the first month.
When the student arrives in Zwolle we pick him/her up at the station and accompany him/her to the house and will provide useful basic information. In the first day in the office, the applicant will sign a non-disclosure agreement. Every applicant has his/her own tasks to do during each week. Student's are required to fill out a weekly progress report to document their work. The report also leaves room for personal issues that may arise during the time of the internship.
We just want to make sure that we do our best to keep everyone at ease and relaxed about their time in the Netherlands.
Accommodation
We provide accommodation directly in Zwolle.
The houses are equipped as follows: -rooms with beds, shelves, table and chairs -common kitchen with oven, stove, fridge, and freezer -shared bathroom -common living room with sofas, TV, and DVD player -laundry machine -wireless Internet connection.

Zwolle
Dutch Internship is located in Zwolle, the administrative capital of the province of Overijssel. With a population of over 110 000, Zwolle is an important economic center situated in the middle of the country. It has a rich history, ancient fortifications, great churches, old buildings and small winding streets in the historic city center. There are lots of water channels, wind mills, and little farms,...etc.
From Zwolle to the famous city of Amsterdam it takes approximately one hour by car or by train.

Cost and Services
Once an applicant starts the internship at a company he/she has to pay the daily fee. The daily fee includes all costs connected with accommodation (room, utilities, internet). There are no other hidden costs for the intern.
Some Food and drinks are also covered: Tea and coffee available all day in the office Lunch provided at the office during the week.
Other benefits include: Bike to get to work (main mean of transportation in the Netherlands) Prepaid mobile phone for work purposes.
The guardian can reach the student on their mobile phone or at the office from 9am to 6pm in the case of an emergency. However, due to the cost of international phone calls we advice the guardians to call for free via the internet. It is maybe best to practice before your child leaves. This is the best way to easily stay in touch.

Confidential advisor:
We will give every new intern the telephone number of a confidential advisor. This advisor is an impartial person who the student can turn to if there are problems at the office the students feels uncomfortable addressing directly.
